Quickbooks Online to Power Query

Currently, I have setup a schedule to deliver a custom report from Quickbooks Online to my OneDrive. It is an .xlsx file. I have copied the web path of the file and am using a Web Connection with the web path to bring in the data into Power Query. However, all accounts are populated with "0" regardless of changing the data type.

Any solutions here? Thanks!

Hi @Tekell09

Please first check whether the data is populated correctly in the xlsx file in your OneDrive. Ensure the correct data is delivered to your OneDrive by Quickbooks Online.

If the data is correct in OneDrive but not correct in Power Query Editor, please try connecting another xlsx file (which is not delivered by Quickbooks Online) located in your OneDrive and check if data in this common xlsx file can be displayed in PQ successfully.

In addition, Power BI has a built-in QuickBooks Online connect which enables users to connect to their QuickBooks Online account directly. This may be an alternative. You could have a try!

Thanks for your reponse. The data formatting is "custom" ( ...in the.xlsx file ) when it comes over from QuickBooks Online. When I manually change it from "custom" to "general" it fixes the issue. However, I can't make this manual change daily.

Does Power Query Editor generate an auto "Changed Type" step after connecting to this Excel file? If removing this step, will it get the correct data?
