Query diagnostics could not be globally enabled
Hi I need to run diagnostics against a full refresh of a Power BI model in PBI Desktop. In Power Qery when I click on Start Diagnostics I get the messge: "Query diagnostics could not be globall...

Instead of opening PBI Desktop the normal way (double-clicking), try right-clicking on it and selecting 'Run as administrator':
You need to be logged into your machine as Admin, it will prompt you for Admin credentials once you try to run PBI Desktop this way.
