Q&A not working

    l2aFa,

    For live connections, the Q&A feature is currently not supported in Report view both in Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.

Thanks for your response.

 

I'm unable to make it work from the service either. I published the report including this month's Q&A button new feature. I have enabled the Q&A preview feature on the Power BI Desktop and also on the report's dataset configuration.

 

When I click on the button nothing happens. I don't know what I'm missing :(

I can use Q&A feature for live SSAS tabular connection in Power BI Service. Do you configure gateway for the SSAS data source?



Could you please share a screenshot about your scenario?

    Thanks again for your answer. Yes, the on-premises gateway is configured and running smoothly. As requested:

     

    Dataset configuration:

    Local report connected to SSAS instance:

     

    Published report against the service (button doesn't respond):

     

    Could it be due to the use of spanish ? Maybe I'm missing some additional configuration.

        I did as you instructed and I can see Q&A in the new dashboard however I remain unable to see it on the report (neither from the service or from the desktop). The "Ask a question" button doesn't even appear on the report canvas :( (as shown in the tutorial).
