Q: Removing unicode in text

Hello Community,

I'm trying to do some text clean-up but having trouble in removing the unicode.

I wish to remove the entire unicode including the character, '+', numbers eg. 

<u+2665><u+fe0f><u+26a1><u+0001f44d><u+2650>

Using a text select function didn't help much as it leaves random characters & numbers which leave the sentence unclean.
