Hello all,
I have a custom build, publicly accessible odata-feed, secured with basic-authenticatio. I can access the feed in the PBI-Desktop without any problems (via 'Get Data' > 'Odata-Feed'). PBI will ask for me my credentials and then download the data from the feed as expected.
However, once I upload the feed to PBI-Online and go to 'Schedule Refresh' I get to the following screen
It seems quite absurde to me that I would have to install a local application to access a data-source that is public. Also, I know for a fact that it does work with a different feed that is hosted on a different server:
