Problem Login Microsoft Power BI Personal Gateway (Preview)

Question

Hi, i've installed &nbsp;Power BI Personal Gateway... but next Windows login is failed... any suggestion?http://inft.ly/3SnAnFr&nbsp;(Errore del server remoto: (500) Errore interno del server)

Hi, do you have permissions to run as a service?, keep in mind that if you are admin the personal gateway will run as a service, but if you are not admin, your personal gateway will run as an application, I tried the personal gateway yesterday and is working fine as a service, but not precisely as an application.

I had the same problem. I added myself as an Administrator on the local machine and it allow installation to complete.&nbsp;Side note: Not sure *HOW* I was able to add myself as an Admin, as I thought only Admins could add Admins and therefore I had admin level priviledges granted via group membership somehow, but hey, it worked.&nbsp;Todd Chitt

TomClancy&nbsp;Try giving your PC name and password while setting up Data Management Gateway.For eg in my case it wasusername: ashish\ACERpassword : ******** (Password used for login into windows)&nbsp;Note: If you do not have a password for your PC then create one and try again. It should work as in my case!

Hi,I am also running into a problem when trying to connect my computer account.My error is: "Registering the Analysis Service Connector failed: NetworkIssue".My computer set as an administrator and I connected to the internet.Any ideas why?
