Why does the iframe function no longer work. This has been a great tool to embed into a webpage for execs to access easily reporting on live data. Suddenly, this has stopped working and noone can access the report. The page shows a greyed out area where the report should be. This is losing user confidence in the app. I know a user can click the double headed arrow in the bottom right corner, but then the Power BI app is required to load also. This is not a solution for busy users to jump through hoops just to view a report after a simple web page iframe was doing the job.
Is there any other easy way of sharing reports to view only with people who do not have and have no other reason to have Power BI accounts.
Hi @cj_guest,
From your first paragraph, it seems that you use publish to web feature to get embedded code, then use the iframe function in HTML page.
If it is, can you share detail information about "Suddenly, this has stopped working and noone can access the report. The page shows a greyed out area where the report should be. In Power BI service, to share a report with end users who don't have Power BI account, except Publish to web feature, another way is to export to PDF then share this static file, or just share the .pbix file which requires Power BI desktop installed to open this kind of file.
