Prevent merge table from changing to import mode in Power Query when originating from Direct Query

I created a merge table from 2 x Direct Query Tables. However the merged table got converted to import mode. How can I avoid this from happening? Thanks in advance

    Hi Anonymous_001 

     

    I think that the only thing you can do is to merge the tables in datasource and then, load the merged table in Power BI
