PowerBI Matrix widget not showing horizonal scroll bar when content changed to rows only

Hi All,

I have searched different postings in this forum but there seemed to be no resolution posted for enabling a horizontal scrollbar with a Matrix widget.    The example being shown is data only in rows and not using the column option.     How can the horizontal scrollbar be enabled?

Thanks for any advice that can be offered.

Hi @jfarland ,

This is a by design behavior for the matrix visualization.

Power BI is treating the matrix 'rows' like 'freeze panes'. In Power BI, the Matrix visualization does not scroll horizontally by design. The variables you put into the 'rows' are fixed and not scrollable because they are frozen. Only the 'values' will be scrollable, not the rows. A workaround is to increase the size of the sheet to include all the table.
