PowerBI Gateway - Personal - Unable to connect

    Yes I have. 

     

    The VM (Windows) is not part of a domain/AD so there's no Group Policy associated. It is a clean VM install and just recently installed Dynamics NAV 2016 Demo. I'm designing it so that I can demo the process.

     

    There isn't any prior Gateway install as well so I'm not sure why it continues to fail.

     

    Continues to error out with "Registering the Analysis Service Connector failed: Reconnecting".

      a_mixed_life I don't have the specific answer at the moment, maybe someone else can chime in. But I suspect it's because you are trying to connect a gateway from an unrecognized domain into your Power BI Service (which is tied directly to your domain/allowed domains via Azure AD)
