Hello,
I'm using a software called 'Measure kill' to clean up my PBI datamodel.
I have a issue with pasting the Power Query M code in the query editor of a shared or “golden” dataset on my local machine, which is connected to several live or “thin” reports.
The issue is that the system fails to recognize renamed columns, resulting in an error for multiple columns. The error message I receive is as follows:
Expression.Error: The column 'Modified On' of the table wasn't found.
Details:
Modified On
When performing the same operation in a single report, I do not encounter this issue, even though there are multiple renamed columns present.
Has anyone else experience the same issues ? any suggestions on how to solve this will be greatly appreciated.
Manually adjusting the query isn't an option due to the size of the data model.
Hi @ElSem,
I'm afraid I can only suggest that you adjust your query. Measure killer is an external tool that we can't provide technical support for, and we haven't found any official documentation for Power BI or Power Query that mentions it.
Also the software does have steps in its functionality that may break the query, please complete all data cleaning steps before proceeding with the query and then edit the query.
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
