Power query problem while extracting day from date by add column option

Hi rs281105 You’re right, I understand your frustration. This is a Power BI UI issue the "Name of Day" is only about 70% visible at the bottom in Laptop but 100% visuble in Large Monitor. In your case, it might be even less.

Root Cause: There is a high probability you laptop has 125% scale 

if you adjust your device display setting to 100% it will visible perfectly 

Go to your PC Settings -> Display Settings -> Scale & Layout -> Scale 100%

However, Here is the m-code to get the Name of Day from your Date column 

= Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Day Name", each Date.DayOfWeekName([Date]), type text)
