Power query custom function all links to sample queries broke

I have been working on a dashboard (fortunatelly with many versions)

My dashboard reads several files with the same structure.

So parameters, sample file queries and ssociated custom function are generated.

In one version of the dashboard all links between query and funcions are broken.

Any idea why links can disappear?

Any idea how to repair broken links?

Feature suggestion: we sould be able to link a function with a query, specially, rebuild a link.

I have searched but I have seen nothing.

It looks to be related to unfinished updates of queries

I recreated the functions and changed the queries using the functions

The process is too cumbersome
