Power query and Excel

Hi all,

I am writing to request assistance with writing a formula to calculate lease spending in each financial year. 

The goal is to connect this file data (green column only) to Power Bi and do this calculation in Power Bi.

I am currently conducting an analysis of lease spending in each financial year, as shown in the attached image. I need help writing DAX formulas and Excel formulas to calculate the spending in each financial year until the lease end, based on the lease start date, lease end date, and monthly lease rate.

I would be grateful for any assistance you can provide.
