Power Query similar to M365 Migration Manager Scan & Report

I need to make a Power App from Power Query transforms (through which Dataverse may play a role) to scan the filesystem, for marking data for various aspects and properties. While I do have a query starting with Folder.Files, and I am able to filter out unnecessary and temporary files, this is in Excel, I feel there may be a role played by Power Apps here. The issue with Power Query is that it overwrites my table when I run it and scan the filesystem for new folders (it might mess up an index if it was based off of the 2nd folder in the folder hierarchy).  So we need a Power Query to run and use Dataverse? In other words, did anyone have something like a Migration Manager Scan without all the Admin portal stuff, only using Power platform?
