Power Query doesn't finish the database session after data preview finished
Hi
When I run a data preview from web app of power BI, the same query is executed in the database engine.
Even after I get the data preview result, the query still executing in the database side. This blocks us to run other queries in the database SQL client.
Is there a configuration in Power BI to finish/kill the query execution after the data is showed.

I think Power BI is not able to kill the sessions in the database. In Power BI Desktop, you may try switching the option to One under Parallel loading of tables. But I'm not sure if this would helps. Evaluation configuration settings for Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

I will try this option.
I am using Power BI from web app (not PBI Desktop), does this change affect also Power BI web app.
