Power Query/SharePoint

Hello, 

 

I am connecting to an .xlsx file via Sharepoint in Power Query. Once I do so, somehow the Excel file in SharePoint is being edited (Column headers change). I'm not sure how this is happening. I didn't know data could be edited in that direction. If I don't connect to Power Query, the SharePoint Excel file remains unedited. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you are correct, this should not happen.  Please provide steps to reproduce.
