I am trying to build a custom connector for an OAuth2 API. I have tried unsuccessfully for a day to get the SDK to allow me to set my credentials for OAuth. The only thing that shows up in the list is Anonymous even after I have changed it and removed it from my pq file.
I get an error, "Invalid credentials: missing DataSourceKind, AuthenticationKind or the Query file."
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi,
Your Data Source definition is missing the required TestConnection field. Without this, the SDK cannot validate credentials and defaults to "Anonymous."
Add the TestConnection handler to your DataSource.Kind record:
Code snippet
YourDataSource = [
TestConnection = (dataSourcePath) => { "YourFunction.Contents", dataSourcePath },
Authentication = [
OAuth = [ ... ]
],
//
];
After adding this, clean your credentials in the SDK and try again; the OAuth option will appear.
Thanks!
