Power Query Load is Stuck at Creating connection in model - Loading Data from Oracle DB

A similar issue has been reported internally, ICM: 263271425
And this is the latest updated information from PG:
We have a fix for this internally, which will be released in the November version of Power BI Desktop.

I still have the same issue and I am using the December 2021 version. So unfortunately Microsoft have not fixed this bug

August 2024 and not sure if Microsoft fixed this bug... I've applied every fix listed in this thread or another forum and am still failing to get past "Creating connection in model..." in the power query load screen. If the connection is between established, it would be nice to see some sort of progress count, percentage, or bar instead of just the rotating loading icon. As a last resort, will try to leave this on overnight and hope I wake up to a miracle.
