Power Query, Interest Calculations for Lump Sum Payments made
Hi,
We have raised some invoices and payments were received for those invoices BUT IN LUMP SUM way. Now we have to charge interest, since payment was received belatedly, can we do it in power query. below is the example:
Details of invoice
| Date of Invoice | Amount |
| 01-01-2022 | 1000 |
| 05-05-2022 | 15000 |
| 07-11-2022 | 23000 |
| 02-03-2023 | 11200 |
| Total Invoice Value | 50200 |
Details of payments
| Date of payment | |
| 30-09-2022 | 25000 |
| 30-04-2023 | 25200 |
| 50200 |
Rate of interest is 5% chargeable from the last day of the month of the invoice till payment is made.
