Power BI report integration with external website using Pro license

Hi,

Can a power BI report be integrated with secure external website using Pro license. This report will be used only by Power BI licensed user and user will login to external site using O365 ID which will also be used for Power BI.

What external website do you refer to?

Power BI report can be integrated into serveral services/sites.

1. You can use "Embed in SharePoint online" feature to integrate report to SharePoint online site.
2. You can embed Power BI dashboard into Microsoft Team following the guide in this video.
3. You can add Power BI visualiations on Dynamics dashboard.
4. You can embed Power BI report to Salesforce following the instructions in this blog.

Another way is to use Power BI embedded feature to integrate reports to web sites. But please note that you can use your Pro license for developing, when you go to production, you need to purchase a capacity. For more details, please review this FAQ.

@Anonymous by external website I mean, some third party site or may be company intranet which is not on SharePoint of something. Iuse O365 authentication to log into it. If I want to expose a Power BI report into this intranet site can I do it with Power BI Pro license?

@smardikar,

As long as you use Power BI embedded feature to integrate report to website which is in production environment, Power BI pro license is not enough, you would need to purchase a capacity.,
