Power BI connection to iTrent

Hi

Does anyone know how to use Power BI to get data from iTrent?

It's a widely used online HR system from MHR, but there seems to be no documentation for it relating to Power BI or an API. I can sign in to it direct so i know my access works. However, I can't connect Power BI to it after trying several variations on using Get Data from Web along with the website address, my username and password. The Basic option looked most promising but won't accept my credentials. Neither will any other option I've tried in that dialog box. 

I'm still getting to grips with how to get data from external web applications so I could be missing something obvious.

Any ideas? Has anyone else connected to iTrent and know how I can get Power BI to get data from it?

Think they provide a datamart, for a fee, and with that you'll get a data model and connection details. The datamart is a reporting database that has a scheduled refresh and is a subset of data.

And API integration is listed as included if you scroll down a bit. How you get the API docs, keys, tokens etc, is another question which I'm trying to work out myself atm.

Thanks. I saw that page but it just says that documentation exists, but doesn't contain the actual doc itself. I'm still trying to track it down. If anyone has a link to the document itself then let me know in the next few days. Otherwise, I'll accept this as the closest answer I'm likely to get. Thanks again.

This article suggests there is an API and documentation for it.  Looks like you can authenticate with a key or with username/password.
