Hello everyone,
I successfully connected the LinkedIn Sales Navigator Analytics Integration app with Power BI using the guide provided by Microsoft. While the connection works and is functional, I encounter a recurring issue during the daily refresh—it consistently shows a "500: Internal Server Error" along with the error message below.
After setting up the connection using the guide, it automatically generated the Power BI report and Semantic model. However, this refresh error prevents the LinkedIn Sales Navi data from staying updated, and I also have an internal report linked to the Semantic model that fails to retrieve data as a result. Sometimes, after refreshing the model a few times, the errors would mysteriously disappear. However, over the past three weeks, this approach has stopped working. I even tried deleting the report and semantic model to recreate everything from scratch, but the error message still reappears after a day.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a way to ensure the daily refresh runs without errors? Please have the guide and error message below.

Hi @Peter-HW ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Reconfirm that all fundamental requirements for a successful refresh have been met and verified:
1) Check the Gateway Version: Ensure that the gateway is updated to the latest version.
2) Confirm Gateway Selection: Verify that a gateway is selected for the report. If no gateway is assigned, the data source may have been modified or could be missing.
If you find this post helpful, please mark it as an "Accept as Solution" and consider giving a KUDOS.
Thanks and Regards
Thank you for the reply.
The gateway is configured by the LinkedIn Sales Navigator Analytics Integration app, with the default set to "Personal Cloud Connection." Wondering if this is the latest version and correctly assigned gateway.
Hi @Peter-HW,
The connection type determines how data is accessed in Power BI. A Personal Cloud Connection supports only Import mode, while a Standard Data Gateway allows Import, DirectQuery, and Live Connection options, enabling real-time or scheduled data access from various sources.
Please switch to standard data gateway if the data source is using Direct query or Live connection and check if you are still encountering the issue.

Hi v-nmadadi-msft,
Thank you for the response.
The Cloud Connection default is ''Personal Cloud Connection'', which standard data gateway are you suggest to connect?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Peter.
