Power BI and BIM formats

There is no built-in connector for IFC Standard in Power BI Desktop, please cntact IFC support if it has REST API or database behind it. it is possible to connect straight to the REST API or the database from Power BI Desktop.

There are some ways to parse the IFC and do some data analysis using third-party (also opensource) software. e.g. https://github.com/IfcOpenShell/ifcopenshell-jupyterhub

I would like to reactivates the discussion on this topic, I also interested in having an integration between IFC and power bi custom visuals, of which allow to control the 3d behaves within a power bi dashboard. It would really appreciated.

It covers the integration of Power BI with BEXEL Manager`s clash detection analysis, including the IFC model viewer. There are also other Power BI dashboards for different BIM analyses.
