In your scenario, you can use Query Parameter to pass dynamic Excel path. See: Power BI Desktop Query Parameters, Part 1.

Advocate IIv-qiuyu-msft Thank you for your reply, I tried it. but it is asking for an absolute path not a paramter. so I can't change the absoule path to a paramter with this way.
is there any other way to include the Excel workbook path as a paramter?
