Hi,
I am attempting to refresh a dataset that contains both SharePoint Online and on-premises data.
Using the .pbix desktop file, I click 'Refresh' and all the datasets refresh successfully. No error messages are received.
Publishing that same .pbix file to an App Workspace and then attempting a refresh against of datasets using a Personal Gateway, it fails and I get the below error.
I have hidden the column name. Why is a refresh within the desktop .pbix file successful but when refreshing, after publishing, against a Personal Gateway does it fail? If the failing column was a problem then surely it would fail during the desktop refresh too.
Thanks in advance.
@Anonymous,
Does the column exist in your data source? Please go to Query Editor of Power BI Desktop and check of the column is using as part of “APPLED STEPS” and if the column if removed in “Removed columns” step.
Regards,
Lydia
