PBI Report does NOT see a refreshed dataset

I've set-up a scheduled refresh for my dataset in PBI.com

And that works (it's refreshed succesfully, no error's and up-to-date refresh date-time of this morning behind it)

But when I look in PBI.com at the report, and I take a look at my refresh date-time stamp in my report that doesn't get updated..

Normally when I did a manually refresh (in PowerBI desktop and re-publish the report) that DID get updated...

Why don't this date-stamp gets updated with the scheduled refresh?

In your scenario, the issue could be caused by that the query you create for the timestamp is a standalone item which is required to refresh individually. Add a custom column to one of your existing queries and check if the refresh date timestamp refreshes properly. There is a similar thread for your reference.

Besides, why not directly use the last refresh time in tile of dashboard? Clicking the ... on the top right hand corner of the tile, then select Edit details and select  “Display last refresh time” as shown in the following screenshot. The refresh time will now show at the top of the tile.

thanks Lydia, the refreshed date-time at the dashboard tile is not sufficient for us... it needs to be on the underlying PBI report... but with the help of the other thread you gave me I got it working
