PBI DT Essbase Connector Support

Team;

 

I have some Native MDX queries that are not returning the expected results when using the Essbase connector in PBI DT Query Editor. Of course it could be me but, was wondering if there is any detailed support documentation on this feature I can peruse for clues? I did a quick search but nothing turned up. Any other suggestions?

    Hi, pawlowski6132 

     

    Are there any error messages when using the Essbase connector?  I'd like to suggest you check if the server connection string is correct and update Power BI Desktop to the latest version.

      Hi Allan, thanx for the prompt response.

       

      No errors. I've been using the Essbase connector for months. However, it doesn't scale well and I am forced to write Native MDX in the properities window. However, I'm not getting expected results and some unusual syntax errors. I was hoping to understand more about how MDX is interpreted, etc. I don't see any detailed documentation.
