Are there any plans to have out-of-the-box connectors to SAP (Cloud Applications) in Power BI?
SAP connectivity is a broad topic but given the fact that SAP aaplications touch in ssome way or fashion about 80% of all world's business transactions, out of the box connectivity to SAP is very important.
I would break that connectivity in the following categories (in order of priority from my opinion)
The existing BobJ connector is NOT the answer for most of the SAP connectivity use-cases today.
Currently no but SAP connectivity is frequently requested and highly ranked.

In fact I was thinking more of the Cloud (SaaS) Applications like Business ByDesign: http://go.sap.com/product/erp/business-bydesign.html
Get an overview of their offering here: http://go.sap.com/solution/cloud.html
This is a totally different offering. BO universes are like a metadata model on top of data warehouses, views, etc. The way it works for Power BI now is that you must have 1) A BO universe on top of your data 2) A BO web server (Apache) running the BO 4.x software or above to relay the data from the Universe. You can create a universe on top of one of these other SAP data as well and then leverage the Power BI connector for SAP. they are the same company so I am sure that may be available.

SAP Business Objects BI Universe data source is supported already. Do you mean that?
