Oracle Direct Query

Has anyone successfully configured this to work?   Would love to hear how you did it.   jrp

Thanks for your information. We have connected to Oracle and are using in production report for some time. My specific issue is connecting using the Direct Connect method of query. Can you tell me which, if any of the above pertain to Direct Connect method?

 

FWIW, we are using Enterprise Gateway. Is that the issue? Would this work better with PBI Report Server environment?

    Hi pawlowski6132 ,

    These considerations applied both in Import mode and Direct query mode, not have anything different.

    If you are using Enterprise Gateway, the server name format is the same as the previous mentioned.

    "Would this work better with PBI Report Server environment?

    Have you faced some problems? If it has any error message or anything else, you can share the error message or screenshots for further discussion.
