Option to disable continue loading during any change inside Power Query editor

Hi,

I'm working with a pbi model having about 1.500.000 data rows. In Power Query I've implemented several logics. When I need to apply any changes to the M code inside the editor I must wait more minutes for each change, because it occurs some loading operations.

Now, does it exist any options to avoid this behaviour before opening the M editor, please?

    You could make your changes in the advanced editor. Then all of your changes would only take effect once you close the window.

    I thing I misunderstood--if your issue is that your preview evaluates when you open the Transform Data window, then you should use Tabular Editor to make your changes.

      Ok, but I'm using the advanced editor. So, none options to avoid the continue loading operations when the advanced editor is opened? Not very well, it should be preferable working inside Power Query and not using another external tool.

        As far as I know, currently there is no option to avoid the continue loading operations when the advanced editor is opened in power query.

         

        Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
