On-premises data gateway for a report with Salesforce and MySQL datasource

We have a report with two data sources: Salesforce, MySQL. We installed on-premises data gateway, and added MySQL database as data source in "Manage gateways" successfully. However we cannot select the gateway in the gateway connection (schedule refresh). I did a testing report with only MySQL DB as data source, and I was able to select the gateway in gateway connecton. I did another testing report with only Salesforce as data source, and it's connected directly. I guess the problem might be Salesforce is connected directly without gateway while MySQL database needs a gateway. Could anyone please help me on this? We do need 2 data sources. Thanks a lot!

Hi @yuanyuanwang,

Currently, when you combine on-premises MySQL data source and online data source like Salesforce in a dataset, you are not able to use on-premises gateway to schedule refresh for the dataset, this is a known issue that has been submitted in the following link and the feature using on-premises gateway to work with online data sources is under review, please vote it. The current workaround is to use the personal gateway to schedule refresh for your dataset.
