On-premises Data Gateway Installation Failed error 1603
Installation fails. Previous version installed in april 2019 on this "2016 server". Tried installing as ADMIN user and also changing the directory. Have tried all of this with no success. ...
I had a similar problem and the only thing I did is to download Windows Tool from this link (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d), and uninstall the "Program" listed as "Gateway components". After the tool ended I retried to uninstall normally (in control panel) and it works.
