On premise data gateway installation

Dear,

I am trying to install gateway in our server. WHat is tthe best practices for installing the gateway. 

I know server needs internet. I am asked to provide the URL which would be accessing from the server, as it is difficult to get internet on servers because of the security policies. Could you please help to get insight on this.

Also is there any server requirment recommendation for the server where we unstall Gateway (RAM, processor and Disk etc)

Minimum Requirements:
.NET 4.5 Framework
64-bit version of Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2 (or later)

Recommended:
8 Core CPU
8 GB Memory
64-bit version of Windows 2012 R2 (or later)
