On-premise data SQL Server and smartsheet

I created a report using data from on premise SQL database and publshed to power bi service. The data was imported not direct query. Report worked, but once I added data from Smartsheet(www.smartsheet.com) and published it, I am unable to use the on-premise gateway. Gateway connection is disabled.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? Or, is this a need that is not supported?

Hi @knpbi,

I am not familiar with smartsheet. Based on my research, smartsheet is an online service application which is used for collaboration and work management.

Currently, when you combine on-premises SQL Server data source and online data source in a dataset, you are not able to use on-premises gateway to schedule refresh for the dataset, this is a known issue that has been submitted in the following link and the feature using on-premises gateway to work with online data sources is under review, please vote it. The current workaround  is to use the personal gateway to schedule refresh for your dataset.
