Have you added the ODBC data source within gateway? And make sure that the connection string you used matches as that you use in Power BI Desktop.
In addition, are you able to access the network share and ODBC data source on the machine that installing gateway?

Hi Lydia,
I am also having the same issue that Tim is having.
After adding the ODBC Datasource within Gateway, It is asking the connection string.
How to view connection string in Power BI Desktop so that we can copy and paste during gateway setting.
