On-Premises Gateway Issue : Publish Power BI Reports fail to connect to gateway

Dears,

According to screen shot below does the On-Premises Gateway still not yet created since I have install the application gateway on my laptop in domain, seems due to group policy cannot connectto Azure Services ?

Anyone knows do I need to click "Create a Gatway" to Azure Services ?

Hi @andykmwong,

From screenshots, it seems that the report get data from SQL Server database in DirectQuery mode. Right?

After publish the report to service, there is no available data gateway or data gateway is offline. So in your scenario, please go to dataset settings, then check which data gateway used.

If no data gateway used by dataset, please go to Manage Gateways, create a data source under gateway use the same connection information used in desktop. For more information, see: Manage your data source - SQL Server.
