On Premesis Data Gateway Error Oracle

I have been working remotely with a client for deployment of some Power BI reports. I am trying to help with setting up their data gatway, to connect with their Oracle database. After some initial problems with getting a 64 bit oracle client set up on the server (where Power BI desktop 32 bit has been successfully connecting to the same data source), their database administrator informed me that "instead of installing the 64-bit client I now only installed the 64-bit ODAC components". Now on attempting to set up the data source on the gateway, we are receiving the following error

As this side of oracle isn't really my area of expertise, and I'm pretty new to Power BI, I wondered if anyone could help - is it likely to be because the 64-bit client still isn't installed that they are receiving this error? Or is it now a different problem that needs to be fixed?

    alipar,

    Do you install the  64-bit Oracle client on the machine that have Power BI gateway installed?


    As per this official article, please install oracle client using 64-bit ODAC 12.2c Release 1 (12.2.0.1.0) for Windows x64 package.
