Odata Feed on VM

Hi all,

I have a Mac and am therefore working on a Microsoft Remote Desktop VM. On this VM I am trying to set up an OData Feed from my Mendix application to Power BI. When connecting Power BI prompts the following error message:

"OData: The feed's metadata document appears to be invalid. Error: The metadata document could not be read from the message content. UnexpectedXmlElement : The element 'edmx:Edmx' was unexpected for the root element. The root element should be Edmx. : (0, 0)"

Oddly, when working on a Windows machine the connection does work. Why it does not work on the VM is unclear to me. Anybody that can help me out?

Joep.

Thanks for the reply. The problem was that I had not cleared my cache. However, it only works for me with Odata V3 so I will look into the links.

Hi @joepkeuzenkamp ,

Is it related to the version of Odata? Power BI OData feed supports V3 and V4.

Please check these documents to see if they are helpful.
