OLE DB or ODBC error DataSource.Error - Spark

Hi,

I get the following error when I try to import data using Spark data source in PowerBI desktop. The dataset has about 30 million rows and 70 columns. 

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] ERROR [08S01] [Microsoft][Hardy] (71) Failed to establish connection with unknown error..'.

Could someone please help me resolve this?

@s_c,

Do you use “Import” mode in Power BI Desktop to connect to Spark? If so, could you please use “DirectQuery” mode instead to connect to Spark and check if you get any issues.

If the above error still occurs, please go to File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Diagnostics and click "enable tracing" in Power BI Desktop, then connect to Spark and check the detailed logs in the traces folder. Also please help to post the detailed logs here.
