ODBC Connections In Power BI

Hello

I come from a SQL Server background and just moved to a company that is using an ODBC to connect NetSuite to Power BI. Personally, I see this as an extremely cumbersome process and know that we can benefit greatly from moving away from this process by adopting a data warehouse to act as a replica of the transactional database that NetSuite is.

I'm looking for any suggestions, recommendations, comments, or concerns from people who have experience using the ODBC connection.

Thanks

Well ODBC is generally pretty slow. You might have better luck with an OData connection through CData or Skyvia.
