No binding to Parameter

I use SQL to create the data for DataRange table.

select distinct date(time) as date from timetable

I want to bind to a DQ M parameter. But can not show the binding.

  • You can enable the parameter to load into the model. Is that what you are looking to do?

(Right click on the parameter and select enable load.)

  • Hi, as far as I know, Power BI desktop wont show in the model view the parameter. You can only see it in the Power Query.

If you want to see or use parameters in the model, you can:

    • Reference them in a query that outputs a table or value.
    • Load that query into the model (e.g., a single-cell table with the parameter value).
    • Then it will appear in the Model view as a table or column.
