New to Power BI. Need some guidance in developing an application.

Hello,

I am developing a .Net Web application where -

1. I need to get the list of reports availble in the Power BI site.

2. When a report is selected to view, I need to display the report in my application as an image or in a frame.

Please let me know if I can acheive these two requirements. I saw some code samples that define how to GetDatasets which may solve my first requirement. Also I didnt get Client App registration theory. Why should we do that to access the Power BI API. Are there any Test Client IDs I can use to test my application.
