New column in source table not appearing in dataset after refresh

I have a great Power BI dashboard I've been using for a few weeks. The dataset is from an Excel doc hosted on OneDrive. I recently added a new column to the Excel spreadsheet but it never shows up in my dataset in Power BI. I created everything via the web interface and did not use Power BI desktop. Any ideas on how to get the new column to show up?

Haven't had that specific issue in the Service but I have had the issue in Desktop before when I have customized my data model with custom columns. But, since you can't do that in the Service, hmmm. Probably don't want to recreate everything. You might try clicking the smiley icon in the Service in the upper right and explaining your situation to support. They might be able to give you a reason why things are not coming in. Do you get an error on data refresh?

Working with Excel is not a live connection on it.

One the dataset have been created the metada have been stored on your service. If you wanna add column in your Excel source file and propagate it to your dataset, you have to reimport it to refresh the data model.
