My team has experienced an unusual situation after the sharing of a content pack with our users. First, some background...The users have been setup with Power BI licenses before the sharing occurred. Also, we are using the most recent Enterprise gateway with access to our SSAS Tabular databases and have given access to my development team for content pack publishing.
Once the users are logged into Power BI, the users select the available organizational content pack. After its selection, Power BI selects the dashboard for the user to be initially viewed. In some but not all instances, the dashboard shows 'Loading' for all tiles and never displays data even after waiting for many minutes, but when navigating to the Report, each Report Tab loads without issue. When navigating back to the Dashboard after the report viewing, it still shows 'Loading' for each of the tiles. This behavior will automatically correct itself within a few hours, but it provides a bad first impression for the user with Power BI. It feels like there is a process with Power BI working in the background that is not completing quickly enough for a new user, but that is a guess.
Has anyone experience similar issues with their users and Power BI? Any workarounds to this behavior?
