Need some help when I link to a folder source, it' given me a file I don't see in the actual folder

Hi Community,

Need some help when I link to a folder source, it' given me a file I don't see in the actual folder where the files are saved too.

Also the file extension isn't a valid extion, so the process won't allow me to save & load the other file data.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

How do I filter, and still get the line level data, when I filter I just get the filtered file names (xlsx)

Filter by extension, not by name

Hi All,

Like I say I can filter the extention type to xlsx but how then do I get the 1000's of line records into Power Qry, all I get is the filtered file names / tpes not the actual lines withn these files.

Confused here.

Cheers,

Then you need to make steps, like you usually do with folder.

Sorry, i have another language in power bi, and cant help you.

But, to do the same steps, you can make source another folder, only with excel files, this steps add automatically, and you can change all links to your right folder.

You can filter formats you need. For example: only .xlsx
