Need help with reading Access DB

Hi Lydia,
Thank you for your reply. My Office installation is a bit tricky in the sense that it was part of an employee purchase program when I worked at Intel. I'm afraid if I uninstall it, I may not be able to reinstall it with all the complexities of the license key etc etc.
The workaround that seems to show promise is I installed PowerBI in a Windows evaluation VM - that is valid for 90 days and hopefully that is more than what I need for this class.
It is disappointing that Microsoft's own products have this kind of incompatibility - I hope the product teams resolve it soon.
Thanks, again.

Hi sschahal,
As stated in this article, Office installed using Click-to-Run and Window Installer on same computer isn't supported.
In your scenario, I am afraid that you would need to uninstall Microsoft Visio Professional 2016 and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, then install 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider.
Additionally, regarding to this office issue, I would recommend you post the question in the Office 2016 and Office 365 ProPlus - IT Pro Discussions forum to get better support.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
