Need help on Lookup the data from other table
Hi all
I have two table WorkPlaceLookUp & Sorted2 both table have comman column Purchasing Document.
I need all the colunm from WorkPlaceLookUp table and Entry data from second table.
I tried to merge both table on the basis of Purchasing Document and try to get Entry data from second table Sorted2 getting null values. Can you please help

A merge looks like it should work. Do you have the same datatype on both columns? If you do, is it a number type?

i think it done by dax
add new column to WorkPlaceLookUp
Entry Date = lookupvalue('Sorted2'[entry date],
'WorkPlaceLookUp'[Purchasing Document], 'Sorted2'[Purchasing Document] )
and if you have more comparative column in table you can put like 'WorkPlaceLookUp'[Purchasing Document], 'Sorted2'[Purchasing Document] . it basically compare same value in both table and give relavant answer.
