Multiple mapping for GL 7 Cost Center

Hi PQ frens,   So I am having an issue with multiple mapping.   We currently have two kinds of mapping for our reporting hierarchy.   One is for the internal management and one is for the group...

Yes Cost Element is "GL Code"

 

There are no codes for Cost Center when it comes to the group mapping. So it is currently being mapped based upon the submission source. The submission source has Cost Center mapping but that is used only for management reporting.

 

For the expense groups, the hierarchy is as follows:

 

Main Group = OPEX Group (BPC MIS) Marketing, selling & distribution expenses

         Sub Group= GL Group (BPC MIS) Others

I am still a bit unclear about the challenge and desired outcome.

 

Are you thinking of using one mapping table for both internal and group reporting?

 

Would you be able to draft the desired outcome? say in excel?

 

I am trying to visualise the use of the mapping and link to the star schema. What fields do you have in the source data (i.e. the GL Summary? GL detailed transactions? or?)
