Mssing data dimensions when creating report from Lakehouse

Hi.

I'm trying to walk my way through the Lakehouse Tutorial.

First of all - too many steps are not accurate anymore, but it seems to be doable.

I'm at section 6, Build a Report https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-engineering/tutorial-lakehouse-build-report and everthing has been done - sofar.

All steps are done through 1-5, but step 6 requires me to create a report (from a menu item, that is located on a differetn tab). The report opens up only containing one dimension in the data pane: dimension_customer

The originating model layout contains the dimensions required with the references expected.

Why are they dimensions (and fact) missing from the report?

Any help appreciated.

Hi, @zapan, hope these pointers help you out.

  • Check Lakehouse Model: Ensure all dimensions and facts are visible and relationships are correctly set.
  • Refresh Dataset: In the report builder, refresh the dataset to update schema and data.
  • Verify Data Source: Confirm the report is connected to the correct Lakehouse.
  • Recreate Dataset: If issues persist, rebuild the dataset in Lakehouse and reconnect.
  • Sync Issues: Log out/in or clear the workspace cache to resolve sync problems.
